Leucorrhoea

Leucorrhea means a whitish discharge from the female genitals. It is an abnormal condition of the reproductive organs of women.

It can be defined as excessive discharge of white sticky smelling material from the vagina. (Shweta Pradara)

Causes

1. Overindulgence in sexual activity.
2. Repeated Abortion, Miscarriage
3. Improper Diet.
4. Improper vaginal hygiene.
5. Intake of oily, cold, sweet, heavy dense foods.
6. Consumption of too much Milk, Butter, Yogurt, Cheese.

Symptoms

1. Weakness, irritation and itching in genital area, pain in lumbar region.

Treatment

1. Avoid Tea, Coffee, Alcohol, Aerated Drinks.
2. Avoid Non-Veg.
3. Avoid Oily, Spicy, fried & Soul Food.
4. Maintain Hygiene.
5. Take Fruits, Vegetables & Salads.
6. Chew betel nuts after meals.
7. Take Gandhak Rasayan.
8. Pushyanug Churna, CPV, Patrangasava, Pradarantak Lauh.
